Quick Update

I know I haven’t posted in a while but let me tell you, work is simply fascinating and demanding. Just this past week, I’ve been working almost 15 hours every night assisting my manager with ensuring express shipments for a new customer. This new customer of ours has nine different warehouses throughout the country. To give you an idea, each warehouse could generate over $10 million worth of revenue for my company per year. If you do the math, my company has the potential to earn almost $90 million per year plus more. Hence, ensuring their satisfaction is of utmost importance to us. The name of this company? I’m sorry, but that is privileged information.
Other than work, not much is happening. Today, I purchased some nice sunglasses from Revo. Yes, I spent almost $150 on them, but I felt that I really needed some nice shades that would last me a while. I don’t have problem losing shades or misplacing them, but I do tend to break them. The frames on this pair are flexible and can bend at awkward angles and still retain their overall shape.
I also went ahead and had a keyless entry with alarm system installed on my car. Although I drive a 1995 Toyota Camry with almost 110,000 miles, I have grown fond of keyless entry systems and really wanted one on my car. From my research, if I were to simply install a keyless entry system and not an alarm system, I would only save a mere $20 on average. It’s a no-brainer to go ahead and purchase both systems. I did not purchase my system through Best Buy or Circuit City, but went through a local dealer that specializes in after-market vehicle customizations. In a way, this place is like West Coast Customs on a slightly smaller scale. Total cost: $225.
I know I should be saving money, but hey, I wanted to splurge a little. No more spending obnoxious amounts of cash!
