Meet Nik

Me

So who exactly does this blog belong to? As you can see in that picture above, it’s me, Nik Agarwal. And by using some complex rocket science, you can easily tell that this blog belongs to me.

I want to thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. My name is Nikhil Agarwal, but please, feel free to call me Nik. I’m an aspiring student at NIU. I’m currently pursuing a bachelor’s of science in Industrial Engineering with a sequence to also complete my master’s of science in Industrial Engineering.

I’m not really knowledgeable about technology, so please, don’t expect me to write lengthy tech reviews or anything. As this is my personal blog, you’ll be exposed to the very diverse elements of my mind. Sometimes I’ll be ranting or sometimes I’ll become philosophical. Either way, I hope that you’ll find some of the information here insightful and humorous.

When I’m not studying for my classes, I’m usually surfing the web, reading blogs, hanging out with my friends, or you might be lucky enough to find me at the gym. As time goes on, I’m sure you’ll see my blog going through extensive changes. Hopefully, I’ll have the honor of your company through this journey.

As a way to help you learn more about me, I have written and will continue to write posts dedicated to help you learn about my ideas and my personality. These posts are colloquially known as “Learn About Nik”. As I write more about myself, I will update the following list:

About this blog

Although this blog is supposed to be a personal blog, I do try my best to write in a more professional manner. That is not to say that you will not find some personal comments and questionable thoughts here. I try to separate my own personal thoughts and frequently label them as “rantings.”

The Air is my newest blog and serves as my personal blog. I am not new to the world of blogging and have been proudly blogging since April of 2004. My first blog was more of an experiment and also reflected a side of me that was, shall we say shallow? Since the creation of my first blog, I have grown mentally considerably and this blog is the culmination of my experiences thus far. The reason why I chose to call this blog The Air is because I have felt that the air around us is not only vital to humanity’s existence, but it also serves as a carrier of our thoughts, aura, and presence. In other words, the air around us influences our thinking, our way of life, and much more. In addition, I have a major fascination with aircraft and airports. I have found these two man-made creations filled with inspiration and awe. Hence, you will notice terms like “port”, “connections”, and “terminals.”

I sincerely hope that you enjoy reading my blog as I greatly enjoy writing. Please feel free to contact me using the form in this blog. I will do my best to get back to you as soon as I can.

A Cleaner Thought is a post designed to help you understand some of the different categories I am currently using. Please note that it may be out of date and will be updated once I make a new post about my categories.
